Happy Memorial Day!!

Today is more than just a day off! We need to remember our Soldiers who fought in War. Today is a  Federal Holiday in remembrance of how many people sacrificed their lives for the safety and freedom of the United States.  Yes, we are a FREE country although everything has it's price.  Today I give honor and thanks to family, friends and loved ones who had someone in the service who passed away!

As people are commemorating all U.S. Service Members who died while in Military Service.  The recognition of the fallen victims was then enacted under the name "Memorial Day" by an organization of Union Veterans.  The Grand Army of the Republic (GAR) to honor Union soldiers of the American Civil War.  Overtime it was extended after World War I to honor all Americans who have died in all Wars.

LED ZEPPELIN

Anytime you want to enjoy of the best Rock n' Roll! You should definitely turn on Led Zeppelin! They have the most unique style to their rhythm and the the profound sound is so lifting in a way of great feelings. Zeppelin has been around way before my time so when I would listen to Rock on the radio growing up, I often would hear great music. I then realized all the songs I really enjoyed listening to were by Zeppelin! It always amazes me that Zeppelin is so versatile with their music, they never get get old or even seem outdated!   Their music is truly Timeless!!

Playing Heavy Metal, Hard Rock, Blues Rock and Folk Rock you can't seem to get enough of the variations.  It's great knowing that a Rock Band of this magnitude could be so successful It's the "Love for Music" Selling over 200 million albums World Wide! Even tho some of their music is over 40 years old it doesn't sound like it's from that long ago. LED ZEPPELIN was way ahead of their time, the music they made will continue being great.  To me it's like it was just made! People around the world still enjoy their music on a regular basis.

A local radio station here in Los Angeles has a tribute to the Greatest Band every day! 95.5 KLOS has what's called "A Whole Lotta Led" meaning they play nothing but LED ZEPPELIN starting at 7:00pm Pacific standard time for about a half hour.  I always look forward to hearing their music because they have such a huge variety that you always have something to listen to that makes you feel great.  Everyone can relate to a song and has a certain emotion involved.  Most importantly it's how you want it to make you feel.

MotherShip is a "Greatest Hits Album" with a compilation of prior songs from earlier albums.  It's a great buy if your a first time listener of Led Zeppelin! It has all their great songs however you never know what your missing out on if you don't buy the full version of their prior albums. I literally enjoy every single song! I cycle through each album because everyday I listen to Led Zeppelin is pretty much a great day!

History & Name

Jimmy Page was in a band called "The Yarbirds". He started as the bassist for The Yardbirds and eventually took the position of second lead guitarist.  After touring for a long time the band begin to settle down.  Jimmy Page being the genius that he is, wanted to form a "Super Band" with lead guitarist Jeff Beck and "The Who's" rhythm section (drummer) Keith Moon and (bassist) John Entwistle.  The band never formed although Page, Beck & Moon did record a song in 1966 "Becks Bolero"

Whilst  Jimmy Page is walking on stage getting ready to perform with his newly formed band, of all people to cross his path was the one and only Keith Moon! He walks up to Jimmy Page and says: "Your going to sink just like Led Zeppelin!"  Led Zeppelin was the blimp that sunk, crashed and blew up in Germany!  This is something extremely crucial to say to someone after something so tragic and especially right before his very first performance with a new band in front of such a large crowd.

Well, little did Keith Moon  know that he had just named "The Greatest Band in the World!"  The name  Led Zeppelin suited them perfect and Jimmy Page  made it so that they would be rememberer as more than a "Blimp" that just sunk but a huge explosion that Rocked the World!!

Devastating Tornado

Deadliest Twister since 1950

Joplin Missouri was hit hard by a tornado! The devastation is so tragic that it's going to take years for this town to rebuild and get back to where they were. They need all the help they can get with a Tornado Relief Fundraiser! A little can go a long way, don't hesitate to help if you feel compelled! If I could take time off of work I'd be out there right now helping clean up the debris and finding people to bring back to safety. Anytime I hear or see anything of this nature my heart goes out to the people who are going through this hard time. I stop and say a prayer for them, when all hope is gone you still have faith. Although it seems unlikely to find any survivors, it ultimately depends on a person who has the WILL to live. Nothing can stop a person from surviving if they truly have the will.

To see something so catastrophic is astounding to visual perspective of any person because you know that this is really bad. Can you imagine having to deal with this personally. So many things take effect like fatigue, depression & uncertainty! People who have physical conditions are going to struggle more than anyone else. Our true heroes are the people who risk their lives to save others such as Firemen and Medical Personnel.

The housing district has been completely annihilated!  There is no place like home. Now where do they go! If the United States could jump so fast for the relief of the Tsunami in Japan I'd love to see the same thing done here in our own Country! The greatest excuse is we already donated to another organization! Like I have already said, a little can go a long way! Anything will help the people of Missouri! My heart is with all the people there who have lost loved ones. I care not going into specifics about how many people are missing.

I have family in Indiana and just last year I drove through Joplin, Missouri. I wouldn't even be able to recognize it now. Just yesterday I was speaking to a friend in Indiana and I was told that the weather was getting so bad that the Tornado warnings were going off all day. There were Tornado warnings in Indiana and a power outage occurred. It's really scary to deal with I'm sure. I haven't ever witnessed an actual Tornado. The worst part about the whole thing is that they could possibly have another Tornado today!

Controversial Katy Perry!!

 Not everyone thought Katy Perry would ever get past the song "I Kissed a Girl and Liked it"  She stirred up a whole lot of controversy and it worked! Who wasn't talking about the release of kissing a girl? It was everywhere! Some people enjoyed the song even tho it was rather vulgar! 

Kids are still trying to grow up in the society that we live in which is not at all easy. Parents! Kids who watch music videos want to be like their icon. This persists as a problem most of the time for the simplest fact is that certain things are not appropriate! What else can we expect if all our kids watch are violence, sex, and drugs!

Two F-18 Fighter Jet's Fly by

Just yesterday I was in my room and could hear the loudest rumbling as if a rocket was being launched! I ran outside to see what was going on! As I look up into the sky the noise was trailing two F-18 Fighter Jet's and not closely either. They were traveling at the speed of sound while the trailing rumbling was  literally shaking my house. The sound wishes it could catch up to how fast these two Jet's were going!

Seeing an aircraft like this always gets me excited. Kinda makes me feel like a kid again. I've always wanted be in flight with a pilot of an F-18. Maybe someday I'll get my chance. I don't plan on joining the Air Force anytime soon unless my friends who are soldiers asks me to fight! They are some brave boys which I give high honors to and props. It's nice knowing that they can be there in a heartbeat.

DubStep Morning!

This song is one of my favorites, everything works together in a way that makes you feel supreme. At least I do! So I hope it rubs off. I had to play this first thing this morning! I love the vocals and the whole concept of the song and arrangement!

The video is amazingl.. Couldn't forget about that. If you have time you should watch it. This song makes me want to take off and start driving for hours maybe Vegas to Indy!
