My Philosophy: Chapter 1

Scattered Thoughts of Imperfection

I would like to start off by saying that “Some day’s are good and other day’s are better” One thing people should know is "Treat others with the same respect you request" It's really simple! Everyone has the ability to be creative, especially with something that truly sparks interest.  Procrastination weighs us down like Ten-Thousand pounds. In order to break the barrier which holds us down, be active with your creativity.  Once you idle for too long you will never seem to catch up to where you would like to be.  I always like saying that when you do your best it’s the best that you could do. If you honestly did the best you could do with the maximum amount of time spent to make your idea come to life, then that truly is the best you could do.

Although being a perfectionist has its ups and downs the best thing to know is, “People make mistakes, why do you think we have erasers?” The line has to be drawn somewhere! Where do you draw the line? Well, “You can swing your fists all day long; once you touch the tip of my nose, you crossed the line”.  It is said that when one takes on too much it’s more than likely for them to fail at their goals.  I believe that it’s always better to have options for anything you want to do.  Is there such a thing as too much? Only when there is too much for one to handle. Some people compute at a higher level and function better whilst they have more than one thought in motion.  It’s what I like to call, “Multitasking” being able to accomplish more than one task at a time.  How can another person determine what’s best for the other? Unless of course medically. That’s about the only exception other than advice gained through experience.

Wisdom is not learned whatsoever, wisdom my friends is earned! Wisdom is obtained through having had something that you’ve gone through in life.  Its experience of certain things that people endure or lessons that are taught by living. It’s knowing that when you play with fire you are going to get burned.  Therefore we become more knowledgeable being that our memory can last a life time and everything that has happened is stored in our brain either consciously or subconsciously.  How we use our knowledge is the most important wouldn’t you say? Everyone knows what’s right and what’s wrong, except for young children who are learning the differences.  It is said that “You are known by the company you keep”.

Lastly, NO ONE IS PERFECT! Even though people may think they are, they really are not! “NOTICE: Lack of planning on your part, does not constitute an emergency on my part”.  Some people tend to put pressure on others for things they couldn’t accomplish on time or decided to wait to the last minute and procrastinate!  When in doubt, figure it out!  I have a very long fuse and never fold under pressure! Like Nike; “Just Do It”.  I’ve been trying to learn to live and let go.  I try my hardest and make the best possible outcome in my favor.  Sometimes things don’t go according to plan.  “If at first you don’t succeed, dust yourself off and try again”.  Keep yourself motivated and don’t let your “Scattered Thoughts of Imperfection” bring you down!

  1. Lot of good stuff in here. I especially like the part about perfectionism. Something I struggle with a lot.
